At Hale's Upholstery, we pickup and deliver too.

My name is Gary Hale. I'm 38 years old. I am originally from Lake Park, Iowa, located in the northwest corner of Iowa. I enjoyed growing up in a small town, I played a lot of sports, including baseball, football, basketball, and golf. I also enjoyed singing in the school swing choir and playing the drums in the jazz band. I went to college in Council Bluffs, Iowa for one year. That summer I worked at a lumberyard for a short time. Then I got a job working at Stylecraft (Now Klaussner) furniture factory, where I worked for the next 16 years. At Stylectaft I started out loading trucks. I soon moved to the upholstery assembly lines. After a couple years I became a float, which created an opprotunity for me to expand my upholstery knowledge because I trained new employees, filled in on any of the many jobs on the lines, and was also involved with developing new models. I worked as a float for 12 years. Then I was promoted to an Upholstery Technician developing new models exclusively.

But like many good American companies, they thought people in China could do it better. So I quit, moved to Montana, and started Hale’s Upholstery in Joliet, MT. After one year, I moved to my present location behind BoneDaddy’s Custom Cycle.

Over the last two years I have really enjoyed working with the public here in Red Lodge. I also love living in a town where you hear the phrase “No Worries” at least once a day. And I guess now would be a good time to say thankyou again to all my customers, so enjoy the website, and give me a call anytime you need some upholstery work done.

Thanks, Gary
